The UP Board Result 2021 for Class 10 and Class 12 is likely to be declared soon by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). As per the media reports, the UP Board examination results is expected to be out by July 15, 2021. However, the UPMSP has not yet announced any confirm date for 10th and 12th class 2021 Result announcement.
Once declared, the UP Board result 2021 will be available on the official website of the UPMSP at upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in, or other alternative websites. This year, UPMSP has announced to cancel the UP Board Class 10th and Class 12th Exam 2021. The board has decided to evaluate the results of Class 10 and Class 12 students on the basis of marks they scored in the previous year.
UP Board Class 10, 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021
- For the UP Board result 2021 Class 10th or High School exam, the marks will be ascertained by considering 50 percent marks of class 9th and remaining from class 10th pre-board marks and internal assessment.
- The UP Board Result 2021 Class 12th or Intermediate will be evaluated on the basis of 50:40:10 formula.
- The Class 12th results of UP Board will be assessed by considering 50 percent marks of class 10th, 40 percent of class 11th and 10 percent of 12th pre-board marks.
- Further, Students unsatisfied with their marks will be given an opportunity to appear for the physical examination.
As many as 56,03,813 students have registered for the UP Board High School and Inter Exam 2021. A total of 29,94,312 students have been registered for UP Board Class 10th exams. While a total of 26,09,501 students have registered for UPMSP Class 12th exams this year.
Prior to this, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has made a number of announcements regarding the upcoming UP Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2021. This year, the UP Board High-school & Intermediate Exams 2021 have been postponed twice in a row. First, the UPMSP postponed board examinations scheduled from April 24 due to the panchayat election in the state. Secondly, when the state recorded a constant upsurge in COVID cases. The examination was rescheduled from April 24 to May 08 onwards but postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak across the state.
While announcing the evaluation criteria of UP board exams, the board authorities have also announced that Class 10 and Class 12 students will get an option to either write the exams later when the situation arising out of Covid improves.
According to the evaluation criteria, the UP Board Class 12th Intermediate Results 2021 will be evaluated on the basis of 50:40:10 formula. The Class 12th results will be assessed by considering 50 percent marks of class 10th, 40 percent of class 11th and 10 percent of 12th pre-board marks. For class 10, the final marks will be determined on the basis of the average of their class 9 marks and pre-board exam marks of class 10.

To pass, a student needs to secure 33% marks in UP Board High school examinations.
To download UP Board Results 2021 Class 10 or Class 12 marksheet, students should have enrollment or registration number. Students who do not know their enrollment or registration number can contact their individual schools.
